For over 45 years, Poway Senior Center has served our mission to provide an environment for our Senior community where they know they are genuinely cared about, respected, appreciated, and welcomed through offering a variety of programming, activities, a shared meal, and a warm smile.
The Poway Senior Center is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization. The senior center incorporated in 1976 and was operated out of the Weingart Community Center up until the late spring of 2019.
During the Pandemic a difficult decision was made to transfer Older Adult Services to the City of Poway so that impactful (and fun!) programming would continue to be provided when the City could resume operations again in the new Mickey Cafagna Center.
We are looking forward to our new relationship with the City of Poway. The Poway Senior Center (soon to be the Friends of Poway Seniors) will resume BINGO in the new Sycamore Hall.
